Under Her Watch: a rescue, a beach club and a summer job

Lifeguard chair, private sand, one swimmer in trouble.

Sophie is the lifeguard at a private beach club, and the boss's nephew is the swimmer who goes under. She brings him back to shore, and the next day he joins the staff. Sophie claims him as her own trainee. The five episodes of this Candy Shorts series turn the season into a run of private lessons. The cast is adult, and the one family link is the nephew's tie to the boss.

Under Her Watch episodes 1 and 2: the rescue and the first lesson

Episode 1: the rescue and the reassignment

A voice on the sand calls for help as a swimmer goes under. Sophie reaches him and talks him through each breath, telling him he takes direction well. The next day a woman in charge introduces him as her husband's nephew. She meant to put him with the deck crew, but Sophie says she will take him. Told to stay professional, Sophie says she knows what a handful he can be.

Episode 2: certification, her way

Brooklyn, a coworker, arrives for shift change and calls the secret safe, though she might want in. Sophie tells her to get in line. The first lesson is water safety, with CPR on the syllabus. Sophie names herself as the examiner. The exercise soon leaves the manual behind. By the last line it has stopped being about safety, which is the cliffhanger.

The free viewing ends there, with three paid episodes ahead. They carry the season forward behind the paywall. The series promises a summer of temptation with Sophie as the instructor.

How explicit is Under Her Watch?
